NEW SITE!!

Since I am no longer a candidate for Common Council, and have no plans on running again in the near future, I felt having a blog address of "monteforcouncil" was not appropriate anymore. So, I have started a new blog that I hadn't planned on unveiling right away but I was "discovered" last night by Jody.

This blog will remain active for about another week and then I will probably terminate it. Again, it has been an interesting run, but now it is time to move on to other things...

Thank You

It has been an interesting year in politics. I have given it a run and I have come up short. I would like to thank all those that have supported me through this campaign and congratulate the 6 that will advance to the general election in April. The voters have spoken and shown that they are content with the way the city is being run and feel that they are better served by others.

I will now support Michelle in her campaign for School Board but withdraw from city politics. I feel that my input now would not be beneficial to anyone.

In the coming days, I will decide if or how this site will continue but for now I will be signing off and relax now that the pressure is gone.
